How to read it
Open interest counts the contracts still open. Large positions at one strike often become reference points as expiry approaches. Switch between quantity and dollars, and hover a bar for each venue's part.
Definitions
- Open interest
- The number of option contracts open at the time shown, in units of the underlying.
- Dollar value
- Open interest times the underlying price each venue reports.
- Venues
- Read from each venue's public market data. A venue that cannot be reached is left out and named under the source.
